Description : Summary :
We are looking for a highly skilled QA Engineer (Automation Tester) with expertise in Selenium, API Testing, and Database Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts to ensure the quality of web applications and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
- Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools
- Conduct database testing using SQL queries to validate backend data
- Design and implement test automation frameworks for scalable testing
- Work closely with developers and business teams to understand project requirements
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or similar tools
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility testing across multiple platforms
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide timely updates on test progress
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Automation Testing
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, etc.)
- Good understanding of SQL queries for database validation
- Experience with test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions is a plus
- Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter) is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
