Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation + Manual)

Role:

We are looking for a QA Engineer who has good experience with Manual and Automation testing for Web and Mobile applications. You will take ownership of the quality assessment for the addition and/or revision of features.

Responsibilities:

• Work with product, business and engineering teams to ensure we are implementing features that meet the customer requirements.
• Design, review and contribute to test plans, test cases, test scenarios, scripts and procedures.
• Develop and manage standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
• Reporting, Bug tracking and escalations management.
• Ensure all reporting is succinct and includes all details necessary for replication and timely resolution.
• Review, maintain and improve current automated software test methodologies and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation testing for web and mobile applications.
• Expertise in Functional Testing, API Testing, Regression Testing, and Manual Smoke etc.
• Experience in Mobile Testing & Automation is a plus (Both Android and iOS).
• Experience in bug tracking tools such as TestRail, JIRA.
• Experience in Database Testing (PSQL, MySQL).
• Detailed understanding of Product Development Life Cycle, including Agile, Scrum, TDD, BDD, software development methodologies, system design and implementation.
• Proactive & self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good to Have:

• Knowledge and experience in security and performance testing (for eg - XSS, CSRF, CRLF, SQLi, etc).
