About The Role
We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter and test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality delivery of insurance policy management systems. This role requires hands-on experience in automation testing, strong programming skills, and familiarity with Guidewire applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing for Guidewire PolicyCenter workflows.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Identify, document, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and improve test coverage.
- Execute API testing using tools and frameworks such as RestAssured.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Ensure the quality and stability of policy management systems before production releases.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Automation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, UFT, and RestAssured.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and experience working in Agile teams.
- Hands-on experience in testing Guidewire PolicyCenter and validating policy management workflows.
Desired Qualifications (Optional)
- Experience with automation frameworks specifically designed for Guidewire applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and integration with automation pipelines.
- Experience in insurance domain projects.
