We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Developer Experience (DevX) team, focusing on manual and automated testing for ARCore and XR projects. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience and a strong background in testing AR/VR applications and devices.
Key Responsibilities
Own the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Conduct manual and automated testing of features across AR/VR applications and hardware.
Find, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution, ensuring high-quality releases.
Review user interfaces for functionality and conformity to design standards.
Collaborate with test engineering teams to understand technical architecture and feature implementation.
Manage and maintain test loaned hardware, including weekly inventory reports.
Basic Qualifications
Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, IT, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 2-8 years of quality assurance engineering experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in C/C++, Java, or Python; experience with Unix/Linux or Windows.
QA Expertise: Strong background in manual testing, bug reporting, and debugging.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience testing mobile and VR/AR devices.
Ability to gather test requirements and define quality metrics.
Familiarity with test automation tools and script maintenance.
