Title: Lead QA
Location: Magarpatta City, Pune
Immediate joiners are preferred.
Key responsibilities include:
- Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks and tools.
- Test Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement innovative strategies and industry best practices for testing functional, regression, performance, and API-level scenarios.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the QA team in automation best practices and tools, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Client Engagement: Engage and communicate directly with client stakeholders for joint platform testing projects where applicable.
- Defect Management: Identify, track, and report bugs effectively keeping the platform defect rate <1%.
- Quality Processes: Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new tools, frameworks, and techniques.
- Documentation: Create detailed documentation for automation scripts, processes, and frameworks.
- Reporting: This role will be accountable for the platform quality and will report into the product leader (Sr Product Manager). Develop and share visual dashboard and executive reports on the platform quality at the executive level.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in transitioning to an automated test framework from a previously manual one.
- Experience in working with one or more automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter, Testim, etc.).
- Experience in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript is preferred.
- Experience in leading a team of at least 5-10 QA analysts.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) and Test Management tools.
- Experience in testing REST APIs and microservices and familiarity with tools such as Postman.
- Experience in designing, executing and reporting performance test cases.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- 7-12 years of testing experience including a minimum of 5 years in working with automation tolls and strategies.
