Job Title : QA Automation Lead

Position Overview : We are looking for a QA Lead with strong expertise in Playwright and Selenium automation frameworks to lead end-to-end testing initiatives for enterprise-grade applications. The role involves driving automation strategy, improving test coverage, mentoring QA teams, and collaborating with development and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA and test automation activities across web applications and APIs
- Design and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium
- Develop automated test scripts using Java
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions)
- Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps teams for quality delivery
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
- Track defects, test metrics, and quality KPIs using JIRA or similar tools
- Mentor junior QA engineers and drive QA best practices
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright and Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with Java or JavaScript/TypeScript automation scripting
- Good understanding of API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber is preferred
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is an added advantage
Experience
- 10+ years of QA/Automation Testing experience
- 3+ years in QA Lead or Test Lead role preferred using Playwright
