We are hiring a QA Automation Architect to lead testing strategy, automation architecture, and quality engineering practices for a sophisticated fintech trading platform where reliability, scalability, and engineering excellence are critical.
This is a highly technical role where you'll work as an engineering peer to development teams, helping shape architecture decisions, improve software quality, reduce release risk, and build modern testing practices across complex distributed systems.

What You'll Do
- Own quality engineering architecture and automation strategy for a complex fintech trading platform.
- Design scalable testing frameworks, automation approaches, and quality engineering best practices.
- Write, review, and improve C++ unit tests across business-critical applications and services.
- Improve software testability, regression coverage, mocking strategies, and engineering standards.
- Design and implement contract testing solutions using PactBroker, Pact, or equivalent consumer-driven contract testing approaches.
- Define testing strategies across APIs, services, integrations, distributed systems, and release pipelines.
- Partner closely with software engineers, architects, and product teams to understand architecture, business workflows, and system risks.
- Analyze failure scenarios, release risks, integration challenges, and platform reliability concerns.
- Drive improvements across CI/CD pipelines, automation reliability, release quality, and engineering productivity.
- Promote software engineering discipline, automation-first thinking, and modern quality practices.
- Mentor engineers and influence quality engineering standards across teams and stakeholders.
- Communicate technical recommendations and architectural decisions to senior engineering and business stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, SDET, QA automation, or quality engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with C++ development and automated testing.
- Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks for complex distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and software quality principles.
- Experience with contract testing tools such as PactBroker, Pact, or equivalent consumer-driven contract testing frameworks.
- Ability to read, analyze, and contribute to production-grade application code.
- Experience working with APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and service-oriented architectures.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, automation architecture, and release engineering.
- Experience in fintech, capital markets, trading platforms, financial services, or highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and architectural decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting capabilities.
- Comfortable operating in client-facing environments and influencing technical direction.
