Quality Assurance - Automation & Functional Tester, SA

Role Summary & Role Description

We are looking for a Automation & Functional Test Engineer with around 5-8 years of experience to work exclusively on Financial Services domain. Person in this position will collaborate with peers on cross functional teams (primarily agile) to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What you will be responsible for

As an Automation & Functional Test Engineer

  • Understand business requirements and define test strategies for software applications.
  • Develop and maintain Test plan, Test cases, Test data, Test backups and other SQA artifacts.
  • Perform Integration, System, Regression, Compatibility and User acceptance testing phases.
  • Develop, debug, execute and maintain Automated Scripts.
  • Identify regression cases and automate test suites.
  • Participate in daily Agile standups, iteration planning, product demos and application walkthroughs.
  • Maintaining and tracking the test deliverables in test management tool.
  • Collaborate with business and development team in delivering the work items without ambiguity.
  • Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases and support.

Core/Must have skills

Capital Markets domain experience.

Functional and Application Testing experience.

Test Automation tool - UFT

Knowledge in writing SQL queries.

Strong Practical experience using Scrum, Agile modelling and adaptive software development.

Strong Practical experience in using Test Management Tools.

Defect Tracking Tools like RTC, Jira.

Good to have skills

Tools like Selenium and Python

Scripting languages like VB scripting, Java Scripting.
