Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain E2E, UI, and API automated test suites
• Use Playwright to test mission-critical web apps
• Create evaluation suites (evals) for AI features
• Automate testing workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Apply AI tools to generate and scale testing frameworks
• Work with engineering and product to resolve issues quickly
• Report and track bugs systematically

Job Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in test automation roles
• Hands-on with Playwright (preferred) or Selenium
• Solid frontend + backend testing mindset
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JS, REST APIs
• Ability to debug and optimize complex test environments
• Must hold a degree in CS, EE, or a related STEM field from a top-tier (Tier 1) university.
• Prioritizing candidates with product development experience over those from tech consulting or services-based backgrounds.
• AI tooling for test generation and automation is preferred
• Must have scaled test suites at previous companies
• Experience in enterprise-scale testing is preferred
• Thrives in fast, unstructured startup environments is preferred
