About the Role
We are looking for a Ai native QA Engineer with deep, hands-on experience testing Loan Origination Systems (LOS) or broader lending/fintech/BFSI platforms. This is a senior individual contributor (or lead) role; you will drive quality strategy end-to-end for our finance-domain product modules, mentor junior QA members, and be a key voice in release sign-off decisions.
Must-Have Requirements
- 3+ years of QA/testing experience, with mandatory hands-on experience in LOS (Loan Origination System) or lending/fintech platforms
- Deep understanding of finance domain workflows — loan application, underwriting, credit assessment, disbursement, collections, or similar lending lifecycle stages
- Automation — hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch using Playwright or Selenium (not just running existing scripts)
- Proven experience testing integrations with credit bureaus, payment gateways, KYC/AML systems, or core banking systems
- Ability to write and troubleshoot automation scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Node.js
- Comfortable reading application code and debugging — able to collaborate directly with developers on root-cause analysis, not just log defects
- Experience in API testing and automation (Postman, REST Assured, or similar)
- Strong command of functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing across complex financial workflows
- Demonstrated use of AI tools (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or similar) in an engineering or QA workflow
- AI Agentic — working understanding of AI agents, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and AI-driven automationes.
Good to Have
- Exposure to regulatory/compliance testing (RBI guidelines, data privacy norms) relevant to lending products
- SQL skills for backend data validation
- Experience working with distributed/remote engineering teams
- Prior experience as a QA Lead or in a test strategy/ownership capacity
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive test strategy for LOS modules, translating complex business requirements into detailed test scenarios and test plans
- Lead functional, regression, integration, and system testing across the loan lifecycle
- Drive defect triage, root-cause analysis, and closure in collaboration with dev and product teams
- Validate data accuracy and business logic across underwriting, credit decisioning, and disbursement flows
- Lead/participate in UAT cycles with business and finance stakeholders
- Define and evolve test automation strategy and framework
- Ensure testing rigor aligns with compliance, audit, and regulatory requirements
- Mentor and support junior QA engineers on the team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- ISTQB certification (preferred, not mandatory)
Work Mode
Fully remote. Candidates should have reliable internet connectivity and be comfortable with overlapping working hours for team syncs.
