Job Description
Position: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Noida
Employment Type: Full-time
Shifts: 01:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Work Mode: 5 Days Work from Office
Notice Period: 15 Days to 1 Month (Serving Notice period Preferred)
Job Description
Required Skills
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including extensive manual and automation testing experience.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as:
- Selenium with Java
- Cypress (If)
- Playwright
- Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Experience in defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
- Lead and coordinate QA efforts across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium (Java), Cypress, and Playwright.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and basic security testing.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams (Product, Development, DevOps) to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps, and ensure timely resolution.
- Review test results, analyze failures, and provide clear reports to stakeholders.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA and testability perspective.
- Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies, including adoption of modern automation tools like Playwright.
