Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role based in Mumbai. The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for SQL Notes platform and related tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing requirements, creating and executing test cases, performing both manual and automated testing, and documenting test results to ensure software reliability and performance. The role involves close collaboration with developers and product stakeholders to identify defects, improve quality standards, and optimize testing processes. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, testing environments, and release workflows.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with experience in defining and implementing QA processes.
• Ability to design, write, and maintain clear and comprehensive Test Cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, including exploratory testing and validation against requirements.
• Practical expertise in QA Automation, including building and executing automated test suites and using test automation tools or frameworks.
• Familiarity with SQL, databases, and basic scripting or programming languages for test automation.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect tracking, and version control tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in testing educational or content platforms, and an interest in tech learning and upskilling, is a plus.
