Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for modern web applications.
The role will focus on ensuring high-quality software delivery through robust test automation, manual testing where required, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain an automation framework built from the ground up for modern web applications.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing.
- Maintain test data, configurations, and environment setups.
- Generate and share test execution reports and metrics.
- Perform manual testing tasks as needed, especially for complex or critical areas of the application where automation may not be feasible.
Skills/ Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Bachelors degree or masters Degree (Preferably Computer Science or Math related field).
- Experience with Playwright (JavaScript / TypeScript).
- Knowledge of Cypress or Selenium.
- Proven experience in designing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Experience in automating Angular-based applications.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (such as Cucumber, Gherkin) is a plus.
- Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, Playwright HTML Reports).
- Experience with API testing (Playwright, Postman, or Rest Assured).
- Knowledge SVN / Git / such as BitBucket or GitHub.
- Knowledge of CI/CD DevOps tools such as Jenkins or other tools.
- Knowledge of Agile practices and ceremonies.
- Understanding of Generative and conversational AI and chat tools like GitHub CoPilot is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment utilizing strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and learn new technologies.
