About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Automation & Data Extraction Engineer to build and scale automated systems for extracting structured data from mobile applications using real Android devices. This role involves working on high-volume data collection pipelines, device orchestration, and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation scripts to interact with mobile applications and extract required data

Automate workflows including app navigation, data input, and data capture

Design scalable solutions to support high-volume data extraction across multiple devices

Work with Android devices using ADB (USB/Wi-Fi) for remote execution and control

Implement scheduling mechanisms for time-based and event-driven data collection

Extract and process data from UI elements, logs, or screenshots (OCR where required)

Ensure data accuracy, validation, and efficient storage in databases

Monitor and optimize performance, execution time, and system throughput

Build robust error handling, retry logic, and self-healing automation workflows

Collaborate with data engineering and product teams for integration and reporting

Required Skills

Programming

Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory), Optional - PuppeteerJS, ReactJS

Experience with scripting and automation (Shell/Bash preferred)

Knowledge of asynchronous programming and multiprocessing

Mobile Automation

Hands-on experience with:

ADB (Android Debug Bridge)

Appium / UIAutomator or similar frameworks

Understanding of Android UI hierarchy and debugging tools

Messaging & Queues : Experience with:

Apache Kafka / Redis / RabbitMQ

Networking : Understanding of:

Proxies, VPNs, and IP-based routing

Geo-location handling in automation

☁️ Nice to Have

Experience with Docker / Kubernetes

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Experience working with large-scale automation systems
