About the Role
Envertiz Consultancy is recruiting an experienced and skilled QA Automation Engineer for our client based in Gurugram, India. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and Database Testing (SQL), along with experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in automation testing or SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) roles who excel in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and related frameworks.
- Conduct database testing to validate data integrity, consistency, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality standards are met.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing within an Agile setup.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across frontend and backend systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automation testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficiency in SQL and database testing (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.).
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
- Proficient in Git or similar version control tools.
- Experience using CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
