Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with knowledge of Selenium, Java/Javascript/Typescript, and API testing. The role involves writing automated test scripts, performing functional and regression testing, tracking defects, and collaborating with development teams in an Agile environment.

Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, API, and application testing.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test strategies and test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Review test results, analyze failures, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices across teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve test coverage, testing processes, and quality standards.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 58 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong focus on automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or Typescript.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC/STLC processes.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
• Knowledge of defect management and test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
