Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Implement BDD frameworks using Cucumber (Gherkin feature files, step definitions)
• Automate RESTful APIs using tools such as Rest Assured
• Execute test cases using TestNG and manage test suites
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
• Perform regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Maintain automation frameworks and improve test coverage
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide test estimations
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and reports

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Java programming
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Expertise in BDD using Cucumber
• Experience in REST API automation using Rest Assured
• Proficient in TestNG
• Good understanding of automation frameworks (Hybrid / BDD)
• Experience with Maven / Gradle
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have:

• Experience with Postman / Swagger
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Exposure to Docker or cloud platforms
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter)
• Familiarity with cross-browser testing tools (Grid, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
