We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 6–8 years of experience in automation testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our web and mobile applications through robust test automation strategies, continuous integration, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web and mobile (Android & iOS) applications.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks to support scalability and reusability.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure high-quality delivery.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution.
- Conduct performance and regression testing through automation.
- Document test results, identify bugs, and work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to testing tools, frameworks, and processes.
Required Skills:
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in automation testing of web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
- Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python for writing test cases.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with Android Studio, Xcode, Postman, and Charles Proxy for debugging and API validation.
- Experience in creating detailed, reusable test cases and test documentation.
- Solid understanding of testing principles, software development life cycle, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good to Have:
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of React Native, Swift, or Objective-C environments.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
