About the Role
Payment Operations Specialist
Responsibilities
- Processing payments accurately and efficiently within established timelines.
- Conducting validation checks on payment instructions to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Handling SWIFT payments and ensuring all transactions are processed securely.
- Familiarity with ISO 20022 messaging standards and ability to work with MT-MX message types.
- Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new payment systems and processes.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of payment processing procedures and systems.
- Experience with SWIFT payment messaging and validation processes.
- Knowledge of ISO 20022 standards and MT-MX message types.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments.
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience working in a financial institution or payment processing environment.
- Familiarity with different payment types and international payment regulations.
- Experience with conducting UAT for payment systems and processes.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
