Job Description for QA

Responsibilities:

Lead and execute the successful strategy for delivery of analyses and analytic solutions to meet BOLT customers needs

Interact directly with high-level stakeholders, end-users, and colleagues

Create and implement test cases for end-to-end data warehouse and data lake solutions

Create and implement test cases for Tableau dashboards

Contribute on automating the testing cycle and improving the testing cycle overall

Contribute and create a motivated work environment within the team

Mentor internal development team and promote opportunities

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in fields of Computer Science, Statistics or an equivalent

Should have minimum of 4 years of experience with software and data quality assurance

Should have expertise in Python and API testing

Should have expertise in end-to-end data testing, deploying best practices & methodologies

Should have proficiency in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers

Should have exposure to SQL and No-SQL databases.

Should have experience in Python ,API testing for big data systems, data lakehouse, analytical reporting

Should have knowledge of data warehousing concepts dimensional modelling, CDC, others.

Should be able to write test cases across the complete data lifecycle data quality, metadata, transformations, control logics

Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python is a plus

Should have experience in testing based API's.

Should be innovative in approach to writing and executing test cases. Knowledge of automation and orchestration of test cases is a big plus.

Should be comfortable working with TFS, JIRA, etc. Knowledge with integrating pipelines with TFS/JIRA is a big plus.

Should have experience in deploying workloads in production environment, troubleshooting defects, improving performance.

Should be comfortable adapting to new technologies, working with multiple teams.

Should possess good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders

Skills:

ETL Testing, PYTHON, strong in SQL Queries, API TESTING, DWH TESTING,

AI/ML knowledge, Playwright+AI , Knowledge of different AI tools for automation is plus.
