Quality Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in software testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of applications through manual and/or automated testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data
• Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, UAT support)
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (if applicable)
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or similar
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand features and resolve issues
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives (Agile environment)
• Ensure test coverage and maintain QA documentation
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman
• Work on performance or security testing (good to have)
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in software testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Experience in manual testing and defect lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools
• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in automation tools like Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
• Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter
• Experience in mobile or web application testing
• Understanding of REST APIs and microservices
