Job Description: Chartered Accountant – Tax & Audit Tax & Audit for an International CA & Business Consulting Firm

Position: Consultant / Senior Consultant – Tax & Audit

Practice: Tax & Regulatory / Audit & Assurance

Experience: 1–6 years (post-qualification)

What impact will you make

As a part of our Tax & Audit practice, you will work with leading clients across industries to navigate complex regulatory environments, strengthen financial reporting processes, and deliver high-quality assurance and tax advisory services. You will play a key role in driving compliance, managing risks, and supporting business transformation initiatives.

Your Work Profile

1. Taxation (Direct & Indirect)

  • Manage end-to-end tax compliance including Income Tax, GST, TDS, and other regulatory filings
  • Support clients in tax planning, structuring, and optimization strategies
  • Handle tax assessments, audits, and litigation support
  • Interpret evolving tax laws and provide practical, business-focused solutions
  • Conduct tax due diligence and advisory engagements for domestic and international clients

2. Audit & Assurance

  • Execute and lead statutory, internal, and tax audits in accordance with applicable standards
  • Review and finalize financial statements (Ind AS / IFRS / Local GAAP)
  • Evaluate and strengthen internal controls, risk frameworks, and governance processes
  • Identify key financial and operational risks and recommend value-added solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure audit quality and timely delivery

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication
  • Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Manage multiple engagements while ensuring quality, timelines, and compliance
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and proposal preparation

4. Innovation & Transformation

  • Leverage data analytics and digital tools to enhance audit and tax processes
  • Contribute to process automation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging risks

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
  • 1–6 years of experience in taxation and/or audit (preferably in professional services firms)
  • Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, accounting standards, and compliance frameworks
