Qualified CA - Direct Tax - Assistant Manager - Mumbai

We are looking for a Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2+ years of post-qualification experience in Direct Tax and Tax Litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling Direct Tax assessments and litigation matters
• Appearing before and handling matters relating to CIT (Appeals) and ITAT
• Preparing and drafting submissions, replies, appeals and other tax-related documents
• Handling tax notices and assessment proceedings
• Conducting legal and tax research on Direct Tax matters
• Assisting clients with tax litigation strategy and representation
• Working on complex Direct Tax advisory and litigation assignments

Requirements:

• Qualified CA
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience
• Relevant experience in Direct Tax Litigation
• Hands-on experience in Assessments, CIT (Appeals), ITAT and Appeals
• Strong research, drafting and communication skills
• Good knowledge of the Income Tax Act and related regulations
