Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in the Pune Division and focuses on Quantity Surveying (Planning and Billing) for highway projects. The QS professional will prepare and review quantity estimates, bills of quantities, and work measurements in line with project drawings and specifications. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring project progress, assisting in construction planning and scheduling, and coordinating with site teams to verify quantities and certify bills for contractors and vendors. The role also involves tracking project costs, assisting in budget preparation, supporting client billing and recovery, and maintaining accurate documentation for audits and reports. The individual will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure timely billing, cost control, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for quantity take-off, cost evaluation, and billing verification.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with clients, contractors, site engineers, and internal team.
- Familiarity with construction billing procedures, contract terms, and relevant standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant QS/ERP or project management software.
