Role Description The QS Engineer (Real Estate / High Rise Residential) at ArborVitae will be responsible for managing quantity surveying activities for high-rise residential projects in Bengaluru. This full-time, on-site role includes preparing and reviewing cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents, as well as validating contractor bills and tracking project budgets. The QS Engineer will coordinate with project managers, architects, structural engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate measurement, cost control, and adherence to contractual terms. Daily tasks include site visits for quantity verification, updating cost reports, supporting procurement with rate analysis, and assisting in value engineering to optimize project costs. The role also involves maintaining documentation, supporting progress reviews, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and organizational processes.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong quantity surveying skills for real estate and high-rise residential projects, including measurement, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.
• Candidates should possess cost control and contract management skills, such as rate analysis, tender evaluation, bill certification, and familiarity with contractual terms and conditions.
• Candidates should possess project coordination and documentation skills, including stakeholder communication, report preparation, and maintenance of cost and quantity records.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with relevant tools and software, such as MS Excel, cost estimation tools, and basic CAD or measurement software used in QS workflows.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline are preferred, along with experience in high-rise residential or large real estate projects.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and numerical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work on-site in Bengaluru in a fast-paced project environment.
• Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and market rates in Bengaluru is beneficial, as is prior experience collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.
