Role Description

We are seeking a qualified QS (Costing & Estimation) professional for our Interior Fit-Out division in a full-time, on-site capacity at our Bengaluru and Gurgaon location. The role involves preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities/measurements, and tender documentation while ensuring alignment with project requirements. You will collaborate with the design and project teams, analyze project specifications, and negotiate with vendors to secure cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities also include budget management, variation analysis, and ensuring compliance with client expectations and company quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Costing and Estimation: Strong expertise in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for interior fit-out projects.
  • Budgeting and Analysis: Proficiency in financial planning, cost analysis, and evaluating project variations for budget adherence.
  • Project Collaboration: Skills in working closely with design and project teams to align estimations with specifications and requirements.
  • Vendor Management: Ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure cost-efficient resources and services.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software is a plus.
  • Compliance and Quality: Understanding of industry standards and certifications such as ISO and OHSAS to ensure quality and safety.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in interior fit-out or construction projects is highly desirable.
