We are seeking an experienced QS-Billing & BBS Engineer to join our Projects team. The role involves comprehensive responsibility for Bar Bending Schedule preparation, material estimation, and complete billing operations for high-rise residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for ongoing projects
- Conduct material take-off, estimation, and bar detailing activities
- Prepare, certify, and process contractor bills after thorough verification within specified timelines through ERP/Farvision
- Check the complete consumption of free-issue materials provided to contractors
- Perform material reconciliation during every RA Bill and prepare sub-contractor bills where necessary
- Handle bill and consumption booking in ERP systems
- Ensure proper measurement bills through quantity take-off from Civil to Finishing works
- Review and verify BBS whilst processing bills
- Coordinate with the Design Team for technical clarifications
- Provide site supervision, support, and assist in material management
- Maintain documentation and prepare weekly/monthly reconciliation statements
- Share knowledge to minimise material wastage at the site
Requirements
Must-have Skills:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Billing, QS, and BBS preparation
- At least 2 years of experience in high-rise residential buildings
- Strong knowledge of Reinforcement Steel Work (IS 456-2000, SP 34:1987 & IS 1200)
- Proven experience in contractor bill preparation, quantity take-off (Civil to Finishing), material reconciliation, and consumption booking
- Knowledge of the Petty Contractor Bill tracking system for Structure and Finishing works
- Ability to handle end-to-end R.I. Steel work, including BBS preparation, circulation, and reconciliation
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Experience in the real estate and construction industry, particularly in residential housing complexes
- Working knowledge of Farvision ERP
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word) and Google Sheets
Educational Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
