Position: QMS Engineer

Job Description:
Western Sealtech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a QMS Engineer to manage and improve the organization's Quality Management System (QMS). The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards, maintaining quality documentation, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System in line with company and customer requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable standards.
- Plan and conduct internal audits and coordinate external certification audits.
- Prepare, review, and control quality documents, procedures, SOPs, and records.
- Monitor and track Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for timely closure.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Support customer audits and address audit findings.
- Conduct QMS-related training and awareness programs for employees.
- Analyze quality performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of quality systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Understanding of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and quality tools.
- Experience in internal audits, documentation control, and compliance management.
- Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and CAPA.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation practices.
Qualification:
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Rubber, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in QMS, Quality Assurance, or Quality Control.
Preferred:
- Certified Internal Auditor (ISO 9001/IATF 16949).
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, rubber, or engineering industries.
