QlikView BI Developer

Job Summary:

The QlikView BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and reports using QlikView. This role works closely with business stakeholders to transform data into actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain QlikView dashboards and reports based on business requirements
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources into QlikView applications
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimize data models and QlikView scripts for performance and scalability
• Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements
• Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, and processes
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with organizational policies
• Monitor BI solutions and perform routine maintenance and upgrades
• Support end-users with training and technical assistance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in QlikView development and data visualization
• Strong knowledge of QlikView scripting, expressions, and data modeling
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Understanding of BI concepts, KPIs, and reporting best practices
• Ability to analyze data and deliver insights through intuitive dashboards
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Qlik Sense or migration from QlikView to Qlik Sense
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools
• Knowledge of other BI tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
• Understanding of data governance and quality assurance practices
