Job Description

Required Skills:

  • Power BI and Qlik(QlikSense/QlikNprinting), Tableau, Sigma computing, Metric insights Administration

  • Expertise in:
  • QMC configuration and management
  • Section Access security
  • Reload and task management
  • Familiarity with:
  • Networking, certificates, and security configurations
  • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, batch scripting – preferred)
  • Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills. 
  • Leadership experience managing teams or complex projects.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence architecture decisions and drive platform strategy.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, mission critical environments.
  • Administer Qlik Sense Enterprise environments including multi-node architecture.,
  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise BI platforms (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Sigma)
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of BI environments
  • Manage QMC (Qlik Management Console) for: o Apps, streams, tasks, and reload schedules o User access rules and security policies
  • Configure and maintain: o Load balancing, node management, and clustering o Data connections and shared persistence
  • Manage platform upgrades, patches, environment hardening, vulnerability management and configuration changes
  • Configure: o Data connections and Qlik Data Gateway (Direct Access / Data Movement)
  • Monitor: o Tenant usage, reload tasks, and app performance
  • Implement self-service governance frameworks
  • Support migration from Qlik Sense On-Prem to Qlik Cloud
  • Support Dev/Test/Prod BI environments and release management
  • Monitor platform health, reload schedules, capacities, and usage
  • Troubleshoot complex performance and stability issues
  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and recurring issues
  • Implement role based access control and data level security
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security and data policies
  • Manage licenses, users, groups, and content lifecycle
  • Provide L2/L3 production support for BI platforms
  • Manage and resolve incidents through ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow). Provide root cause analysis for the incidents.
  • Maintain SLA compliance and incident documentation.
  • Act as escalation point for critical BI incidents
  • Maintain SLAs, SOPs, and operational documentation
  • Mentor junior BI administrators and engineers
  • Lead BI platform modernization or consolidation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts for BI assets.
  • Bachelor's or master's degrees in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
