About the Role :
QHSE Management
- Lead implementation, maintenance, and improvement of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) aligned to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Ensure compliance with India regulatory requirements, client standards, and company procedures.
- Act as focal point for external audits, certification audits, and client inspections.
- Manage nonconformities, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
Quality Assurance
- Drive quality assurance and compliance across all project phases.
- Ensure adherence to contractual, statutory, and client-specific requirements.
- Monitor quality KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Health & Safety
- Lead HSE implementation across offices / project sites ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct and oversee:
Risk assessments, Audits, Inspections and Incident investigations.
- Promote behavioural safety.
Environmental Management
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Support sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and resource efficiency.
- Monitor environmental performance and reporting.
Audit & Compliance
- Plan, conduct, and lead internal audits and inspections.
- Maintain audit findings register and ensure timely closure of actions.
- Lead ISO certification and surveillance audits.
- Provide assurance to management on IMS effectiveness.
Training & Awareness
- Identify training needs and coordinate QHSE training programs.
- Deliver awareness sessions and toolbox talks.
- Support competency development and compliance across the workforce.
Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure effective document control in line with IMS requirements.
- Prepare:
- Monthly QHSE reports
- KPI dashboards
- Management review inputs
- Analyse trends and recommend improvements.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on regulations and standards.
- Identify improvement opportunities and drive best practices.
Qualification/ Training/ Certification & Education:
Education
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline (preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in QHSE roles within construction, consultancy, or infrastructure environments.
- Proven experience in managing audits, compliance processes, and risk-based systems.
Certifications & Training
Auditor certifications in:
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001,
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent recognized HSE qualification.
Proficiency in MS Office
