Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a QGIS Expert to work on a contract basis. This role will involve applying domain expertise in QGIS to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. As a QGIS Expert, you will contribute directly to the development of frontier AI models, enhancing their performance and reliability across various domains, including finance, healthcare, and engineering. The work will involve applying real-world expertise to training data, evaluations, and feedback loops that improve how AI models perform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end projects in QGIS, from raw spatial data acquisition and cleaning to final map outputs and comprehensive deliverables.

• Document workflow and reasoning in real-time as you perform data management, spatial analysis, and map production tasks.

• Organize, clean, and validate diverse spatial datasets, ensuring high accuracy and consistency throughout the process.

• Manage projections, coordinate systems, and spatial references to optimize data interoperability and output quality.

• Style and symbolize map layers for clarity, interpretability, and professional presentation in various contexts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in QGIS and spatial analysis techniques, with a strong understanding of spatial data management, projections, and coordinate systems.

• Experience in leading projects from raw data acquisition to final map outputs, with a focus on data quality and consistency.

• Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex spatial analysis and data management concepts in a clear and concise manner.

• Familiarity with data validation and cleaning techniques, with the ability to ensure high accuracy and consistency throughout the process.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize data interoperability and output quality.
