Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Mobile Automation Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Selenium and strong expertise in Appium implementations and integrations. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of mobile test automation frameworks, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a client-facing role. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium and Selenium.
- Implement and integrate mobile test automation frameworks to ensure robust and scalable test coverage.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to define test strategies, automation best practices, and test execution processes.
- Conduct performance, functional, and regression testing for mobile applications on both Android and iOS platforms.
- Analyze test results, debug issues, and work closely with developers to resolve defects.
- Optimize and enhance the automation framework for improved efficiency and maintainability.
- Ensure automation scripts are integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, provide test status updates, and participate in client meetings.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in mobile automation testing.
Qualifications & Skills
- 6+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium.
- Strong hands-on experience with Appium for mobile test automation on both Android and iOS.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks and tools (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, etc.) for test integration.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and REST API testing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or AWS Device Farm.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to present findings clearly
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
