Job Description
The QC Engineer is responsible for inspecting, testing and ensuring the quality of Current Transformers (CT) and Potential Transformers (PT) during manufacturing and before dispatch.

Job Description
The QC Engineer is responsible for inspecting, testing and ensuring the quality of Current Transformers (CT) and Potential Transformers (PT) during manufacturing and before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect raw materials and electrical components used in CT/PT manufacturing.
- Check core assembly, winding, insulation and manufacturing workmanship.
- Perform routine tests on CT/PT transformers as per company procedures.
- Assist in insulation resistance (IR), winding resistance, polarity and ratio tests.
- Verify accuracy class and other electrical test results.
- Prepare inspection reports, test reports and quality documentation.
- Identify defects and coordinate with production for corrective action.
- Ensure products comply with applicable IEC/IS standards and approved drawings.
- Support final inspection before product dispatch.
- Basic knowledge of CT and PT transformers.
- Understanding of CT/PT ratio, polarity and accuracy class.
- Knowledge of electrical testing instruments.
- Basic knowledge of IEC 61869 and relevant IS standards.
- Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and report preparation.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- Basic knowledge of electrical machines and transformers
- Willingness to learn testing, inspection and quality procedures
