The QC Technician is responsible for performing quality control activities on raw materials, in process products and finished goods to ensure compliance with company quality standards. The role also supports laboratory operations, quality management systems and manufacturing activities while maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
EHS
Comply with company EHS policies, site safety regulations and applicable statutory requirements.
Report EHS related incidents through the company reporting system.
Quality Control
Perform sampling, inspection and laboratory testing on raw materials, in process products and finished goods according to established procedures and specifications.
Verify supplier Certificates of Analysis (COA), prepare customer COAs and maintain accurate quality documentation in accordance with ISO requirements.
Conduct routine production quality checks, investigate quality deviations and ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
Perform M3 system transactions and liaise with Customer Service on product quality related matters.
Quality Management System
Support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 documentation, internal audits and continuous compliance activities.
Maintain laboratory housekeeping and assist in manufacturing, stock count, warehouse quality inspections and other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications
NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with QC, laboratory or manufacturing experience will have an added advantage.
Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
