As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we're looking for a QC Team Leader to join our Operations team to support the day to day running of QC services at our Thane Site.

Who We're Looking For

  • Degree qualified in Organic Chemistry
  • Extensive experience in quality control for chemical manufacturing operations
  • Attention to detail, teambuilder, good interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical expertise on instruments like HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR etc.
  • Good problem solving and planning and organizing
  • Good knowledge of site processes

What You'll Be Doing

  • Implementing and maintaining a QC service at the site, covering all aspects of quality control for incoming materials, in‑process testing, and finished product testing.
  • Providing analytical support and data reporting to assist other functions with troubleshooting and problem‑solving at the site.
  • Providing product analysis for all saleable materials, including matters arising from customer complaints, queries, or requests for analytical support.
  • Implementing and maintaining appropriate training regimes for new and existing QC staff to meet departmental objectives.
  • Supervising QC analysts and ensuring that resources are in place to deliver appropriate analytical support to the site, while managing staff to ensure effective
  • performance through appropriate development and training.
  • Assisting with the recruitment and selection of departmental staff.
  • Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of QA systems for the department, including equipment calibration.
