Description
We are seeking a QC Painting Supervisor with 5-6 years of experience to oversee our painting quality control operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that our painting processes meet established quality standards and help improve our operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the quality control processes for painting operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of painted surfaces to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines for painting activities.
- Train and mentor junior QC staff on quality inspection techniques and standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to quality control inspections and reports.
- Ensure that safety and environmental regulations are adhered to during painting operations.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-6 years of experience in quality control within the painting or coatings industry.
- Strong knowledge of painting processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, ISO 9001, etc.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment relevant to painting quality control.
