Role Description

We are seeking a qualified QC Inspector – Fabrication (MS & FRP) for a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing quality control inspections, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and supporting quality assurance processes across fabrication activities. The role involves monitoring shopfloor operations, documenting inspection outcomes, and assisting in resolving quality-related issues while maintaining compliance with established quality management systems. Effective coordination with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure production meets defined quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming material, in-process, and final inspections in accordance with applicable specifications and standards
• Verify materials against purchase orders, test certificates, and engineering drawings
• Interpret General Arrangement (GA) and fabrication drawings accurately
• Perform dimensional inspections using instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and measuring tapes
• Monitor fabrication processes including cutting, welding, fit-up, and assembly activities
• Identify non-conformities and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain comprehensive inspection records and quality documentation

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in Quality Control, Inspection, and Quality Assurance practices
• Sound understanding of quality management systems and their application
• Strong communication skills for reporting, collaboration, and issue resolution
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with MS and FRP fabrication processes is an advantage
• Hands-on experience with measuring instruments
• Basic knowledge of welding inspection practices
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for documentation and reporting
• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar fabrication environment is desirable
