Job Title: QC Executive-Soft Home
Functional Area: Quality Assurance/control (Soft Home)
Job Location: Head Office
Education Qualification: BSC/MSC in Textile Science/Any Graduate or Post Graduate
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Check the Raw material prodcured adheres to the quality standards approved by HO.
- Check final approved samples Pre-Production and TOP of Production are as per QC/PSC guide lines. Variances taken up with PH QA/Vendor and escalated to stake holders
- Quick & through turn around of approval process for PP/TOP at HO
- Update & Circulate PP/TOP Tracker- to PSC & PH
- Check Lab reports against IDF submitted by PH Merchants are under tolerance
- Track Inline/Midline/Final inspection rosters for PHs and share tracker bi-monthly with Merchant and QA teams
- Monthly QAFI TAT Report to circulate to PH and QA teams- Monthly
- Support and guide vendors for product improvements, testing implementation and packing
- Support with Season Jury product review for Quality
- Update Lab Testing Grid and costs from lab partners if and when required
- Coordinate & Prepare Vendor Assessment and Grading
Complaint Addresal and resolution
- Reslove & close complaints on complaint tracker, B2C and Mailus. Quick turn around and support as per set TAT
- Target to keep complaint value within tolerence limit set
- Corrective action on repetitive Complaints
- Share data with PH Merchant and QA for all Valid Complaints on monthly basis
Documentation
- Maintain- New Factory Evaluation Data
- Audit Data
- Inspection Tracker/Roster
- Specimens from Labs for reviews
- Conditionally approved Lab reports
- Projects
- Track travel expenses in relation to work load and orders per QA/Region
- Timely Invoice submission to Accounts for any tests/expenses done at HO
Communication
- Good communication with computer knowledge with MS office, MS Excel is mandatory for analysis and various other operations
- Language; English, Hindi. English Reading, understanding and writing is mandatory
- Proactive communication for any escalations, to Head QA and stakeholders
- Communication with PH QA for corrective actions
- Plan oriented approach-keep all stakeholders informed
- Proof read mails before circulating

- Self developments on areas of improvement

- Able to work in partnership with parallel teams and contribute to team goals
- Travel to alloted region for inspections and craft training
- Ensure all trainings assigned by HR & Training are completed as per target timelines
Knowledge &Skills:
- Experience of 5+ years into Merchandising, Sampling and Product Development
- Good Knowledge of Fabrics; Soft Home Products
- Interpret Lab Tests-Procedures, Reports and Labeling
- Strong knowledge of production processess (craft & non-craft) -printing, weaving, dyeing, embroidery, stitching, finishing, labeling, packing
- Material/Techique knowledge and pre and post procedures-Yarns, greige fabric, processed fabric; dyeing, block making, screen making, tracing, card punching, curing, finishing
- Understanding Construction of Madeup categories; Technical packs and Drawings
- Command on Product Testing as per end use; Safety, functionality & chemical testing as per Indian Standards or ISO; Other Certifications like BIS; Good Weave; Global Recycling Standards etc
- Acceptance Quality Limit (AQL) working and understanding
- Understanding CAPA with implementation
- Well versed with Excel and data anyalitics. PPT presentation skills
