Responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer at Genrobotics, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform in-process and final inspections during production to verify product conformity to specifications.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Prepare and submit quality reports, including inspection summaries, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
- Ensure all quality documentation complies with ISO 13485:2016 and other relevant standards.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and process improvements based on quality findings.
- Participate in root cause analysis for defects and deviations, proposing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to quality control.
- Assist in preparing for and conducting internal and external quality audits, including ISO 13485 audits.
- Coordinate with regulatory affairs teams to ensure products meet global compliance standards.
- Manage the calibration and maintenance of QC equipment and instruments to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for regular calibration and equipment validation activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and reducing defects.
- Encourage a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the production and QC teams.
- Stay updated on the latest quality control technologies and methodologies and implement relevant improvements.
- Support the department in establishing and maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS).
Skill Sets Required
- Must Have
- Understanding of Electrical/Electronic Circuits.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics and diagrams.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, etc.
- Knowledge of QC tools and methodologies such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Familiarity with Six Sigma principles and Lean manufacturing techniques.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Experience in performing Incoming Quality Control, In-Process Quality Control, and Final Quality Control.
- Ability to identify and resolve quality issues through effective problem-solving techniques.
- Experience in conducting Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Proficiency in maintaining and updating QC documentation as per industry standards.
- Good to Have
- Experience with CAD tools for electronic design (e.g., Altium, OrCAD) and understanding design specifications.
- Competence in using software for data analysis (e.g., Excel).
- Understanding of PCB manufacturing, soldering techniques (SMT, THT), functionality testing, and assembly processes.
- Ability to create detailed inspection reports, quality documentation, and failure analysis reports.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related field.
