Job Title: Chemist / Chief Chemist - QC

We are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our team as a Chemist / Chief Chemist - QC for water soluble fertilizers plant at Urla, Raipur. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our water soluble fertilizers, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished agrochemical products to assess their quality, purity, and compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Accurately record and interpret test results using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments. Analyze data to identify any deviations or anomalies that require further investigation.
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues. Participate in root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and documentation of laboratory equipment to ensure reliable and precise test results.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all quality control tests, results, and related documentation. Adhere to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures to enhance the overall quality of the agrochemical products.
- Comply with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the quality control department and collaborate with the team to implement best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree: M.Sc in Chemistry or a related field is required.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in quality control, preferably within the agrochemical / Fertilizers manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments. Ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
