Job Description
Job Title: QC Chemist (Detergent / Cleaning Chemical)
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Chemist to support quality control inspection and small-scale sample preparation for customer evaluations. The candidate will assist in routine laboratory testing, detergent formulation preparation, and basic chemical handling processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Control (QC) Inspection
- Perform routine QC testing for detergent and cleaning chemical products
- Prepare QC reports and maintain testing records
- Ensure products meet internal specifications and customer requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory equipment and workspace
Sample Preparation & Laboratory Support
- Prepare small-scale detergent and cleaning chemical samples for customer evaluation
- Assist in weighing, mixing, dilution, and blending of chemical formulations
- Assist R&D team in formulation trials and experimental work
- Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory and consumables
Safety
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling protocols
Requirements
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge of detergents, surfactants, or chemical formulations is an advantage
- Familiar with laboratory testing methods and chemical handling
- Able to work independently, good teamwork and communication skill
Preferred Skills
- Experience in detergent, cleaning chemicals, or semiconductor chemical industry
- Understanding of surfactants and cleaning performance evaluation
- Familiarity with ultrasonic cleaning or wafer cleaning applications is an added advantage
- Experience in ISO9001:2015
