Key Responsibilities
ERP Implementation & Configuration
Lead the end-to-end implementation of financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Tax Management.
Configure the system to handle multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-GAAP requirements.
Conduct Gap Analysis to identify differences between standard QAD functionality and specific business needs.
Financial Process Optimization
Design and refine Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay workflows.
Improve Cost Accounting and Product Costing processes, ensuring accurate inventory valuation and production variance analysis.
Support period-end (month/year-end) closing activities and ensure data integrity within the ERP.
Reporting & Compliance
Develop financial reports and dashboards using QAD BI (Business Intelligence), QRF (QAD Reporting Framework), and Excel.
Ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and SOC2).
Facilitate automated tax calculations and statutory reporting for global operations.
Stakeholder Management & Support
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide training to finance teams on new system features.
Provide production support, troubleshooting high-priority issues (P1/P2 tickets) within strict SLAs.
Collaborate with technical teams on system integrations via QXtend or EDI.

Technical Skills
ERP Proficiency: Deep hands-on experience with QAD EE (Enterprise Edition) or QAD Adaptive ERP.
Module Expertise: Mastery of Financial and Cost Accounting modules.
Tools: Knowledge of QAD BI, SQL, QXtend, and Progress 4GL (for techno-functional roles).
Functional Knowledge
Strong understanding of manufacturing business models (Automotive, Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, etc.).
Expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
Education & Certifications
Degree: Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Information Systems.
Certifications: Professional qualifications like ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are highly desirable. QAD-specific application certifications are a major plus.
