Role Summary

We are seeking aQASpecialist with strong experience in retail analytics and the Azure ecosystem to

validate enterprise Power BI reporting and Databricks-based data pipelines. The role focuses on

ensuring data accuracy, report integrity, performance reliability, and governance compliance across

large-scale analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Validate Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models for data accuracy and consistency.

Perform data reconciliation between source systems, Databricks (Lakehouse), and Power BI outputs.

Validate retail KPIs, hierarchies, aggregations, and time intelligence logic.

Conduct end-to-end testing of ETL/ELT pipelines (ADF, Synapse, SSIS).

Perform regression, UAT support, and post-deployment validation.

Identify data gaps, transformation issues, and performance bottlenecks.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and developers to resolve data discrepancies.

Ensure adherence to data governance, modeling standards, and reporting best practices.

Support production issue analysis and root cause validation.

Required Experience

57 years of experience in BI/DataQAor Analytics validation.

Mandatory experience in Retail domain (sales, inventory, KPIs, product hierarchies).

Experience validating large datasets (50M+ records).

Strong knowledge of:

Power BI (Desktop & Service validation)

DAX logic validation and performance testing

Azure Databricks (Delta tables validation)

SQL (advanced data validation queries)
