Responsibilities- Perform testing of Android and iOS mobile applications on physical devices.
- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and sanity test cases.
- Validate UI/UX consistency across different screen sizes and OS versions.
- Log, track, and retest defects using the organization's defect tracking tool.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Record test execution results and prepare basic test reports.
- Collaborate with engineers to reproduce and verify issues.
Basic Requirements- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts (SDLC/STLC, Test Cases, Defects, Regression Testing).
- Familiarity with Android and iOS smartphones.
- Good observation and analytical skills.
- Ability to document issues clearly with screenshots and reproduction steps.
- Basic knowledge of mobile applications and common usability guidelines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred (Nice to Have)- Basic understanding of Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar bug tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Android Studio, Xcode, or device emulators.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Exposure to mobile automation tools (Appium, Maestro, or similar) is a plus but not mandatory.
