Functional QA Tester — AI Chatbot
Role Summary
Detail-oriented Functional Tester to test an AI-powered chatbot, interact with business users for UAT, and ensure the product meets quality and business expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Business Interaction
- Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with business users
- Collect and prioritize user feedback; communicate to development team
- Provide testing status updates, demos, and ensure business sign-off before release
Functional & UI Testing
- Test across browsers and validate responsive design, loading states, and error handling
Bug Reporting & Documentation
- Log bugs with reproduction steps, expected vs actual, severity, and screenshots
- Maintain test case logs (Excel/CSV) and provide weekly summary reports
Skills
Required Qualifications
4-6 years manual/functional testing of web applications
Client-facing experience: requirement gathering, UAT coordination, feedback management
Strong communication — ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
Education
Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is typically preferred, Relevant certifications in software testing, such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board), can be advantageous. Previous experience in software testing or quality assurance roles is highly desirable.
