Job Description

  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You'll be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, ensuring that products, applications, and systems work correctly.
  • Collaboration: Review and analyze system specifications, collaborate with the software development team to create effective strategies and test plans, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Execution & Reporting: Execute test cases (manual or automated), analyze results, and evaluate product code against specifications. You will create logs to document testing phases and defects, and report bugs and errors to the development teams.
  • Troubleshooting: Help troubleshoot issues and conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
  • Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester (3-4 years).
  • Experience in QA methodology.
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.
  • Working knowledge of test management software.
  • Basic knowledge of databases like SQL and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/BCA/MCA) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
