Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Technical Lead to lead our Quality Assurance team and drive the overall testing strategy across web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual testing, automation, API testing, security testing, and team leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software releases while mentoring QA engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers and Automation Testers.

Define QA strategy, test plans, and release quality gates.

Design, review, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and automation scripts.

Drive automation initiatives using Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.

Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, API, and UAT testing.

Conduct API testing using Postman and REST Assured.

Manage defect lifecycle using Jira and participate in defect triage meetings.

Collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC.

Ensure quality standards are met before every production release.

Prepare QA metrics, reports, and release status updates for stakeholders.

Mentor team members and promote QA best practices.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.

3+ years of experience leading QA teams.

Strong knowledge of Manual and Automation Testing.

Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.

Experience in API Testing using Postman and REST Assured.

Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

Experience with Jira for defect management.

Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Performance Testing (JMeter, k6, Gatling).

Knowledge of Security Testing (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite).

Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

Experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.

Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
