Role Overview:
We are hiring a hands-on QA Team Lead to lead our Quality Assurance team and elevate product quality. The role combines leadership responsibilities with active testing involvement. The ideal candidate will establish robust QA processes, mentor the team, and ensure seamless product releases. Experience in the hospitality SaaS domain is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Strategy & Process Setup
- Design and implement QA best practices for SaaS products.
- Establish manual and automation testing frameworks from scratch.
- Oversee the entire QA lifecycle—from requirement analysis to release sign-off.
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and support QA team members.
- Conduct training sessions to upskill the team.
- Manage workload and allocate tasks across multiple projects.
- Testing & Execution
- Analyze product/technical specs to create test plans.
- Develop detailed test cases, checklists, and testing documentation.
- Conduct regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Validate post-release fixes and live issues.
- Tool & Workflow Management
- Use ClickUp/JIRA for test case management, bug tracking, and task allocation.
- Define bug severity guidelines and streamline the defect lifecycle.
Automation (Preferred)
- Automate repetitive test scenarios (regression/smoke tests).
- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is advantageous.
- Cross-Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and Support teams.
- Act as the final quality gate before product releases.
- Reporting & Metrics
- Track and report QA metrics (bug density, test coverage, etc.).
- Provide regular updates to leadership on quality status.
Required Skills:
- QA team leadership and process establishment.
- Strong manual testing expertise in SaaS environments.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (preferred).
- Proficiency in ClickUp, JIRA, or similar tools.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
