We are seeking a freelance Accessibility QA Specialist to review and remediate digital STEM/educational content. The role involves checking mathematical equations, superscripts, subscripts, decimal and unit formatting, random variables, tables, blank placeholders, and visual consistency using WIRIS and project-specific accessibility guidelines.

The freelancer will also be responsible for previewing corrected content, identifying rendering issues, cross-checking mathematical symbols between question text and images, and maintaining a chapter-wise Excel log of changes and recurring issues.

Requirements:

• Experience with WIRIS, MathType, or similar equation editors
• Strong understanding of mathematical notation
• Experience in content QA/accessibility QA/proofreading
• Excellent attention to detail
• Basic/intermediate Excel skills
• STEM/engineering/mathematics content experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
